Bath to the border area of North Wales ( Wrexham ) is approximately 165 miles and takes around 3.5 hours. Snowdonia National Park is further into North Wales and is approximately 182 miles ( Blaenau Ffestiniog ).
North Wales is an area of outstanding natural beauty with the National Park of Snowdonia being the most popular attraction. Snowdonia features some of the most pictures hill views in United Kingdom. Snowdon is highest mountain outside of Scotland and popular with hill walkers. Luckily there’s also a mountain train ride to the peak for those who appreciate a less exhausting summit view.
Farther west lies the Isle of Anglesey, a land of great historical significance. Also found on the North wales coast is the eclectic architecture of the village of Portmeirion, famous for ceramics and the filming location for the TV 60s series ‘The Prisoner’.
